As an educator, I focus on developing independent learners, empowering students by helping them develop awareness of their individual learning style, strengths, and areas for growth. As every durable structure rests on a stable foundation, I begin by ensuring their fundamentals are robust.  Employing data-driven and research-based assessment and instructional techniques, I tailor skill and content development to each individual, seamlessly weaving organization, time management, study skills, test-taking techniques, self-advocacy, confidence, meta-cognition, and methods for alleviating anxiety into our work as necessary. Each student is a human being with unique needs, so I listen and observe carefully, allowing me to teach organically and responsively. Students enjoy their time with me, gain confidence, and are quickly inspired to push themselves further. My approach is designed to impart purpose and facility in every topic, and to leave students with a deepened connection to their education.
